This year we are excited to introduce our PYO corn on the cob fields
Follow along the rows of stalks and find the biggest, chunkiest and brightest cobs to pick for tea. Cobs are naturally wrapped in their own leaves for protection so look for the cobs where the hairy/stringy tassels have turned brown so you know they are ready to eat! If the tassels are still white or yellowy they’re still not ripe enough.
Wear your wellies and get ready to run up and down the field to find the perfect one for tea! Don’t forget to pick up some local butter to melt on top for tea – ‘ansome!
